When Todd started his career with LPL Financial, he built a practice based on assisting his clients with investments that were tailored to each client’s unique objectives, while still being well-diversified, and structured according to the client’s best tax interests.
Todd earned his BS in Business Administration-Accounting degree from the University of Toledo, and began working with his father and brother at Sattler Consulting, an accounting practice specializing in individual and business tax preparation. A desire to assist his clients with their individual investment needs encouraged Todd to acquire his Series 7 and Series 63 securities registrations, held through LPL Financial. His combined knowledge of finance and taxes allows him to give a full-picture perspective that considers the tax consequences of certain investment decisions in the overall functioning of a well-balanced portfolio. Since 1993, he has proudly served his clients and has enjoyed helping them work toward and pursue their own financial success.
Todd and his wife, Julie, reside in Perrysburg along with their two children, Abby and Griffin. He is very active in his community, serving on several boards and working with local charitable organizations. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, attending his children’s sporting events, and traveling.
There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk.
